CIE launches qualification courses for teachers

ISLAMABAD: Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the world’s leading qualification and assessment provider, has launched new professional development qualifications programmes (PDQ) in teaching and learning fields.
Millennium Roots Schools is offering these courses nationwide for its teachers and school leaders.
PDQ head Paul Beedle, PDQ Certificate and Diplomas Examiner Ray Eaton, Cambridge International Examinations Schools Development Manager Humayun Ghayyas and their team of professionals honoured RMS with their presence at head office at E-11/4. The aim of the visit was to help scale and implement the smooth conduct of PDQs in the RMS. The PDQ is offered at RMS for their teachers to understand principles of learning and teaching and apply these principles to their own practices to help learners more effectively in collaboration supported by their colleagues.
The meeting proved to be beneficial in understanding the structure of the Cambridge PDQs. All the Cambridge certified programme leaders attended this meeting and gained the most out of it. This meet up really gave deep insights about conducting PDQs in RMS schools, nationwide. Alongside, the learning outcomes, complete framework of Cambridge certificate and diploma programmes and other future prospects were discussed in order to promote 21st century teaching and learning skills.
CIE being the largest provider of international qualifications and assessments is well recognized globally and supports RMS fully to ensure the delivery of qualifications in a quality environment.
