Note: From now on Private/ External Examination M.A (Economic, Sindhi; English, Urdu, Political Science & Islamic Culture) are not allowed.

In Pakistan large number of students appearing annually in graduate and postgraduate examinations in arts subject as private candidates, in public sector Universities without going through any interaction with the teachers and the institutions (affiliated colleges) where they get themselves registered as private / external candidates for graduate and post graduate programs. Consequently, they fail to acquire quality education due to which there is less worth of their degrees and their degrees are not at par with the degrees of regular candidates at graduate and post graduate level. In order to enchance the quality of Education and the worth of the degrees of the private/external graduate and post graduate candidates, Higher Education Commission Islamabad has decided to bring the private/external graduate and post graduate candidates education system under distance mode. For this purpose the Directorates of Distance Education has been established at the six public sector universities across Pakistan, the University of Sindh, Jamshoro is also included where thousands of candidates get, themselves registered as private/external candidates through affiliated colleges each year for graduate and post graduate programs. Under this new initiative of Higher Education Commission, all private/external graduate and post graduate program of University of Sindh will be gradually converted into distance mode. The University of Sindh is announcing the admission in M.A. (Economics Sindhi, English, Urdu & Islamic Culture) program for private/external candidates for the year 2015 and up to 2017 all private/external programs at graduate and post graduate levels will be offered under Distance Education mode.
ELIGIBILITY

B.A/B.Sc/B.Com With minimum 45% Marks
(Third Class is not Allowed)
PROGRAM FEE: (Total fees for two years Rs. 22,400H in four equal installments.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE & SCHEDULE

Application forms can be obtained from Habib Bank Limited, University of Sindh Old Campus Branch Hyderabad on payment of Rupees 500/= non-refundable with effect from 25-03-2015. 2.
Regular application form properly filled in along with necessary documents be submitted personally in the office of the Dean, Faculty of Education, Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad and obtain the photocopy of the receipt of the form.

Last date of form submission 20-04-2015.
Last date for the deposit of admission fees is 30-04-2015.
The fees will be paid in Habib Bank Limited University of Sindh Old Campus Branch Hyderabad.
The Classes will commence from Second Week of May, 2015.
