EXAM POSING GREAT STRESS TO KIDS…WHAT TO WATCH OUT! (Part-02)
2) Parents role are vital. Your support to them during these days of exam is of no equal. Of course, you don’t need to answer the exam for them. What I mean is, you need to lead by example. If your children has seen how calm you face and solve certain difficulties of the family—then that’s good basis for them because children always mimic their parents. It’s actually a way of life. Parents are the first ones children idolize rather than looking-up to someone outside home. In this, parents should be able to develop problem-solving skills of their children by brainstorming them to certain situations. Open communication must be encouraged so as to be able to get the inner thoughts of your children. Listen to them and review the pros and cons of each potential solution. If this is practiced, they will apply same skills and approach in life even when taking exams.
3) A child whose body is nourished well—thinks better as well! Balanced diet is important. Kids love junk food; it’s a fact in the kids’ world. Parents should know these are of no help to the physical and mental growth and development of their children. Caffeinated drinks and eatables make kids irritable, moody and hyperactive aside from the truth — they are not healthy at all.
