Games and Outdoor Activities
Everyone likes to play in their free time; either it is indoor video games, board games, computer games or outdoor soccer, tennis, badminton, basketball or just climbing the tree type games. They all are sources of joy and fun.
Each type of game has a different impact on the person. Psychologists suggest that kids develop more when they play outdoors. They become more adventurous, creative and imaginary in their lives. When playing outside, brain of those develops at a much faster rate than those who play indoors.
There are numerous effects. Not only do they become better learners, and do well in school, but they are more fun to be around (i.e. they make more friends)–everyone wants to play with the kid with the active imagination!
Playing outdoors not only has advantages on mental health but it has advantages on physical health as well. Obviously, if a child is playing outside he/she will be way more active than the child that stays indoors. The great thing about this is that it can have long-lasting effects in life. So make sure you spend your playing time in the most effective manner.
