The school timetable is a powerful administrative tool. Ideally it should meet the aims and objectives of the school by providing an appropriate structural dimension to the curriculum. Every class has its own schedule, timeline and subject orientation.

It is a tool which helps in coordinating with four elements i.e time, subject / room, teacher and the students.

It should be given to students on the very first day of class. Usually it is provided on the orientation day with full details of timings, teachers, subjects and classes. Timetable is usually so simple that it can be constructed manually or in a basic spreadsheet package.
