Health is Wealth – How to Stay Healthy?
“I believe that the greatest gift you can give your family and the world is a healthy you!”
~Joyce Meyer~
Being healthy not only means good body condition but also involves a healthy mind and lifestyle. This is not the era to look upon others for your own health; you have to be in control. So, here are some suggestions to follow:
Eat Healthy
This is the first thing you’ll be told by any doctor, nutritionist or counselor. Eat loads of vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water instead of sodas and juices. Avoid packaged food and junk (junk is named junk for a reason). Do cheat sometimes but it’s best to avoid making it a habit.
Exercise
The next important thing to stay alive longer and be stress free. Exercise at least twice a week. Stay active.
Sleep
Get a minimum of 8 hours sleep so that you are energized to face the day! Sleeping more is also unhealthy and sleeping late is fatal to your mind and body.
Keep Good Hygiene
Staying clean and hygienic is the key to good health. Develop good habits and spread awareness.
Stay Positive
As it is often quoted ‘hope for the best and prepare for the worst’, so always stay positive yet be realistic in your approach. Have fun, enjoy life and maintain healthy friendships. Do avoid negative people in life; you don’t have room for them.
Be Confident
Trust yourself, when you’re comfortable in your skin, people will like you more.
Make Goals
It is essential for a healthy mind to stay focused. So dream big and get to work in achieving them.
Don’t Waste Time
We don’t value time as we should and waste it on unproductive activities like watch excessive TV that hosts nothing but useless programs increasing insecurity and doubts in our minds. Do stuff that gives you satisfaction and inner peace.
Vent Out Occasionally
Do not keep all the stress and negative feelings inside for long. Vent it out, grieve for the loss and then move on. Focus on the good things about life and keep working hard; keep working for a reason. A life without a mission is not worth living. Stay clear of depression and avoid people who make you cling to unhealthy habits.
