Why you should never skip your breakfast?

Many people often find themselves too busy to have a proper breakfast in the morning, some too sleepy and others in a hurry to do so. If you are one of them, now is the time to change that pattern! Because skipping on breakfast in going to do more damage to your body than any other meal.

Here are the top five reasons why you should never ever ever skip your first meal of the day!

1. Energy boost:

Those who eat a healthy breakfast in the morning are more likely to perform quicker and better in school/work situations than those who skip it. It not only keeps your mind fresh, but also gives your body the fuel it needs to get started.

2. Memory:

A 2005 journal of American Dietetic Association, after doing multiple studies on diet patterns, revealed that breakfast improves cognitive function related to memory and test grades! Bravo! How about starting from today?

3. Weight loss:

This is for everyone trying to lose weight out there. People skip breakfast in the hope of losing weight but end up eating more high calorie food for lunch/dinner which results in weight gain.

DID YOU KNOW? That according to studies, people who eat breakfast as their largest meal of the day lost an average of 17.8 pounds over three months? Other participants consumed the same amount of calories, but at dinner. The dinner-group, lost only 7.3 pounds over the same time period.

4. It improves your metabolism:

When your blood sugar level drops in the morning, your body needs fuel to keep it going. To make sure your metabolism keeps on going, you must eat something within the next two hours of waking up.

5. Mood lift:

If you have been skipping breakfast and stay irritable most of the time or stressed up easily, you must know now what might be the reason behind it.You may not realize what’s causing it and stay grumpy all day.

Those who take their breakfast regularly are tend to be healthier, stay focused at school/work, have a better memory, have decreased risk of diabetes and heart attacks and prevent their LDL cholesterol levels.
