
Junk Food And Child’s Health
Now a days junk has become more appealing for a number of reasons including price, convenience and taste. However, regular consumption can result to addiction, which can cause serious concerns for a child’s health and can lead to several complications. Desserts and pizza as well as soda, sports drinks and energy drinks make up the top sources of calories for kids’ aging 2 to 18, according to the publication “Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2010.” A diet full of junk food not only affects weight but other facets of a child’s life too.

These calories should be made up of foods low in cholesterol, salt, saturated fats and added sugars Its the parents’ duty to monitor and develop good eating habits in children so that they can be protected from risked situations.
