Lack Of Parent Attention
Parents’ involvement in their child’s education is very important in their academic achievement. Parents who set high standards for their children and for their grades and play an active role in their educational life by meeting with educators or school officials have children who receive higher grades than students whose parents have low or no standards.
Lack of Involvement
Working parents often have children who misbehave or perform poorly at school. Lack of involvement with your child can end up in poor grades and less attention of your child towards education.
Poor Learning Environment
Lack peaceful environment to do homework and study may also negatively impact a child’s grades and attention span at school.
Other Considerations
You can be more involved in your child’s academic achievement in a variety of ways. Set high standards and goals. Make sure he arrives to school timely and does not skip class. Talk to your child about what he wants to be when he grows up and what it takes to get there.
