Dell announces education centric tablet Venue 10 with Android L

There is a new addition to the education-focused devices with the arrival of Venue 10 and Venue 10 Pro as announced by Dell. Dell Venue 10 is a unique tablet as its operating system is Android 5.0 Lollipop and is amongst the first tablets certified by google for google play to promote education.
The company has only announced the specifications of Venue 10 Pro which is powered by Windows 8.1.and is equipped with a powerful intel processor and 2GB RAM.
It has 10 inches large HD display having 720p. along with the NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro HDMI port, Micro SD slot and a 38 Wh battery which provides you up to 10 hours of use without charger as claimed by Dell.
It also has a 5 MP rear and 1.2 MP front camera which can be used for image/video recording or video calling.
Dell Venue 10 Pro costs $330 while its optional detachable keyboard costs $50 which can convert your device into an Android powered notebook. Venue 10 Pro screen is Wacom digitizer so you can have digital pen for your device in $33.
Along with above specifications, Venue 10 Pro has different optional hardwares which can be purchased to upgrade the device but they also affect the cost.
If the Venue 10 will also have the specifications near to Venue 10 Pro, then it will be a very powerful Android Tablet. But how it will affect the market? This question can be answered after its launch. Dell said it will be in market in “ Spring 2015”, so I am sure that in the near future this unique device will be in our hands. Hope for the best.
