Overview:
The Physical Education Department’s mission is to assist in developing students into a well-adjusted individual: physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Through the varied activities of the program, the department hopes to provide challenging and satisfying experiences in meaningful movement, self-expression, physical wellbeing, and knowledge and techniques of sport activities. To promote professional players who can impart training of sports and games under scientific principles and in a systematic order. To enhance the organizational skills in the students and knowledge regarding organization and conduct of tournament at national and international level.

Requirements
As per policy of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) for admission to MS/M.Phil. Programs, the female candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Minimum 16 years of education (BS or MSC in the relevant fields) or equivalent
- The candidate must have obtained 2.50/4.00 CGPA in semester system or 50% marks in annual system
- Qualifying GAT General (50% qualifying marks) is required to apply for the admission in MS Program.

Entry test (50% qualifying marks) and interview organized by University is mandatory for admission in MS Program.
Course Duration: 2 Years
How to apply:
- The candidates may obtain admission forms along with prospectus from the university office on the dates notified. They will fill out the form in their own handwriting. They will attach the photo copies of the following documents:
i. Matriculation Certificate / Equivalent
j. Intermediate Certificate / Equivalent
k. BS / equivalent degree
l. Provisional / Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
m. Domicile Certificate
n. NIC of the candidate
o. Monthly Income Certificate of Father / Mother / Guardian.
p. Migration Certificate (Other Board / University).
q. GAT Result Card
r. NOC from the concerned department (in case of Govt./Semi Govt. Employee)
s. Three attested passport size photographs.
t. NIC of candidate’s Father / Guardian
- In case of Foreign Candidate:
a. Attested photocopy of Foreign Passport.
b. Forwarding letter from the concerned embassy and Higher Education department, Govt. of the Punjab, Lahore
- The selected candidates shall pay the dues by the dates notified otherwise their seats will be cancelled.
- Due to limited seats in the hostel, hostel seat will be granted on merit only.
- The candidates from the other universities shall provide NOC from their respective universities.
- All the selected candidates are required to bring all original documents and two passport size photographs at the time of depositing the University dues otherwise they will not be allowed to pay the dues.
- Admission on general seats is granted strictly on merit.
- Student passed Pharm-D (5 year programme) is eligible to apply for M.Phil. Admission.
