Course Name: MS Economics
Overview:
The economy of Pakistan is facing many modern day challenges. The School of Business and Economics at UMT plans to play a significant role to cope with the challenges by producing academically and technically more qualified human resources in economics. More specifically, the primary and major aim of the program is to produce more qualified teachers for degree colleges and researchers/analysts for public/private organizations, banks and industry.

Requirements
- First division or 2.5 out of 4 CGPA in MA/MSc) Econ., Ag.Econ. Or Business Econ.) Or equivalent degree in Economics after 16 years of education from an institution/university recognized from HEC.
- No 3rd division in the entire academic career.
- The candidate must have passed entry test GRE General or NTS (GAT) with a minimum score of 50%

MS Thesis
Thesis shall be of 06 credit hours. A participant shall be allowed to start working on thesis after completing the course work of 27 credit hours with a min. CGPA of 3 out of 4.
