MSc IT-Education University Lahore
Course overview:

To prepare students to learn concrete ideas of IT, to analyze problems and to develop problem-solving projects.

To encourage students to become independent learners.

To encourage students to help other disciplines as engineering, physics, economics, finance using IT.
No of semester:
The MSc IT degree comprises of 72 credit hours earned over a period of two years (four semesters)
Requirements:
Entry Requirements
Graduation in any of the Following
Business Administration, Business & information Technology, IT, Computer Science, Commerce, or Bachelors of Engineering or Equivalent with any of these subjects. Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer studies, Statistics, Economics and Education.
Age Limit

For a candidate seeking admission to a degree program on the basis of BA/BSc, the age limit shall be 24 years.

In real hardship cases, the Vice Chancellor may grant relaxation for five years in age on the recommendation of Head of the concerned institution..
-
No age limit for admission in the evening classes.
Merit Calculation
-
1/4 of the marks obtained in SSC/Matriculation (out of 850) + 1/4 of the marks obtained in HSSC/FA/FSc (out of 1100) + the marks obtained in Bachelors/BA/BSC (out of 800) minus year wise deduction after Bachelors/BA/BSc examination (5 marks per year) = Total

Marks in Bachelors will be multiplied with 0.85 in case of semester system.
Course duration:
The duration of program is 2 years / 4 Semesters and each semester comprises of 16-18 weeks
