Course overview: Master of Banking and Finance (MBF) is designed to develop advanced skills and knowledge required for today’s banking and financial world. MBF is an excellent blend of theory and practical vision in banking, finance and economics. It provides extensive knowledge of Pakistan’s financial institutions and markets and the participants can fully comprehend the complexity, uncertainty and risk in the market.
MBF also emphasizes the development of analytical skills through real case-studies and regular project work relevant to the needs of a dynamic market along with other necessary skills required for employment.
The participants are successfully developed to meet the challenges of the private and public sector entities. The participants are also facilitated to get internship in reputable organizations to gain practical experience.

Requirements:
- 14 years of education in any discipline from HEC recognized institution.
- Minimum 2nd division throughout the academic career.
- Candidates having Masters/Bachelor with 1st division will be given 10 marks and 5 marks for 2nd division.
How to apply:

Admissions for Management studies programs (MBA 3.5 years (morning), MBA 2 years (Executive), BBA (Hons) 4 years and MBF 2 years) usually open once in a year during Fall Semester i.e. August / September.

Applications for admission to MBA, BBA (Hons) and Master of Banking and Finance (MBF) programs are invited through an advertisement in the National Press.

The candidates domiciled in any district of Pakistan, who possess a graduation degree in any discipline from an HEC recognized institution and securing a minimum 2nd division are eligible to apply in MBA and MBF programs and candidates possessing 12 years of education from a recognized board of secondary education with minimum 2nd division are eligible to apply for BBA (Hons) program.

The Academic Council shall determine the number of students to be admitted in MBA and BBA (Hons) programs of each year’s academic session.

A candidate for admission to the MBA, MBF and BBA (Hons) programs should apply to the concerned discipline on the prescribed forms obtainable from the concerned office of the Dean / Director within time limit specified by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore on payment of the prescribed price.

The selection of the candidates shall be made purely on merit basis. List of admitted students will be displayed on the website www.uvas.edu.pk, and on Notice Boards of the office of Convener of the Admission Committee.

Candidates shall not be informed about their selection and as such they will have to check regarding their admission from the lists of selected candidates.

If any candidate fails to deposit the University dues within the stipulated period after the display of admission lists, his/her admission shall stand cancelled automatically without any prior notice and the admission on that seat will be offered to next waiting candidate on merit basis. His name will also be displayed on the website and Notice Boards.
