Overview
The main objective of any M.Phil. /Ph.D. program is to produce competent personnel for leadership positions in the relevant field. For example, in Economics, the objective is to provide high level Economists who can be involved in framing the economic policies of the country. Similarly in Management Sciences the objective is to prepare top level managers to steer the organizations and to bring them to a market leader positions. In Education, the objective is to prepare educationists for leading slots in teaching, assessment and educational administration. Another very important objective of all M.Phil. /Ph.D. programs is to promote Research in the respective fields. M.Phil. /Ph.D. scholars will produce original researches on the completion of their degrees. As such new knowledge will be generated bringing new theories and applications in those fields. It will promote research culture in Pakistan, which in its turn; will provide a solid foundation for the country’s development.
