Course Name: BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MATHEMATICS

Course overview:

The study of mathematics can persuade a wide range of interests and abilities. It deals with the questions arising from complicated structures. It develops a wide range of language and insights. These traits make mathematics as an essential subject to an insight study of other sciences. The role of mathematics in the progress of engineering sciences, computer sciences and physics cannot be denied by any mean.

The BS Mathematics program at CIIT, Lahore is designed to cater the evolving international trends in mathematical education. Learning derives from problem solving and aims at bringing out independent thinking skills. This course focuses on those areas of mathematics which are most readily applicable for the investigation of real world problems. This course gives you a solid foundation in the fundamentals of applicable mathematics, with the computational support required for real-world investigations built-in to form a coherent modern program.

No. of semesters: 8 semester

Requirements:

  • Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics, with minimum 50% marks, from an accredited institution.
  • NTS test.

Course duration: 4 Years

How to apply:

  • Sign Up at Online Admissions System
  • Email Authentication After successful sign up please activate your account by authenticating your email address (to authenticate, please follow the link sent in your email from Admission System).
  • Login your admission account using the login panel given at the right side of your screen.
  • Enter your application details in the 6 sections (visible after login).
  • Submit your application using the “Submit Application Form” link (visible after login).
  • Print your Application Form and NTS Challan Form (visible after login).
  • Submit Printed Application Form, Required documents (list is given in admission form) and Paid NTS Challan form, Application processing fee Rs. 1000/- ( if you have not purchased a prospectus for current Session) to CIIT Admission Office, if you have purchased a prospectus for current session then please attach the admission form in prospectus with your printed application form.
  • NTS Test Slip will be issued to you at the Admission Office.
