Course overview:

The program aims at preparing effective classroom teachers who:

1. Have mastery of content
   
2. Can use modern instructional strategies to the needs of the learner
   
3. Make optimum use of technology in instruction
   
4. Perform all tasks related to effective instructions
   
5. The goals will be attained through classroom teaching and learning, hands-on experiences and field base experiences in the form of teaching practice/practicum and supervised internship.

   The Entry requirements of B.Ed Program:
   

• Master degree in school subjects (at least 2nd division)
  
• Physical Fitness
  

  Age Limit
  

• 26 years on the last date of submission of admission application.
  
• In real hardship cases, the Vice Chancellor may grant relaxation for five years in age on the recommendation of Head of the concerned institution.
  
• No age limit for admission in the evening classes.
  

  Merit Calculation
  

  1/4 of the marks obtained in SSC plus 1/4 of the marks obtained in HSC plus 1/3 of the marks obtained in BA/BSc plus marks obtained in MA/M.Sc minus year wise deduction after BA/BSc examination (5 marks per year) = Total

  The Duration of the program is one year that is comprised of two semesters.
