Requirements:
- Applicants having domicile of Punjab and Federal Capital Area shall be eligible to apply for admission in King Edward Medical University, Government Medical and Dental Colleges of Punjab.
- Applicants must have secured 715/1100 unadjusted marks in F.Sc. (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination (without including the marks of Hafiz-e-Quraan).

(i) Candidates who possess qualifications equivalent to intermediate (Pre-Medical) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English can apply for admission. The equivalence of qualification and calculation of marks of the candidates holding qualification other than F.Sc (pre-medical) will be determined by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad. (IBCC)
(ii )The Chairman Admission Board reserves the right to scrutinize the educational documents of such applicants. In case any discrepancy is found with regard to the eligibility/ calculation of marks, of any applicant, he will refer

2. Admission Packet will include two admit cards, two personal data sheets, admission application form and prospectus,
Curriculum:
First year M.B.,B.S. There will be send up examination in the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. Failed students will not be allowed to sit in the University Examination if they fail in any of the subject in the send up examination.
- Second year M.B.,B.S. There will be send up examination in the subjects of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. Failed students will not be allowed to sit in the University Examination if they fail in any of the subject in the send up examination.

Third year M.B.,B.S. There will be send up examination. The subjects will be:-
- Pharmacology and Therapeutics
- Forensic Medicine and Toxicology 3. General Pathology
- Clinical Methods in Surgery 5. Clinical Methods in Medicine
- Pharmacology and Therapeutics
All subjects will be compulsory for the purpose of examination but only those students will be detained from appearing in the university examination who fail in either of the first two subjects.
Fourth year M.B.,B.S. There will be send up examination in the following subjects:-
- Special Pathology
- Community Medicine
- Eye
- E.N.T.
- Medicine
- Surgery
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
The students will be allowed to sit in the University
- Final year M.B.,B.S. The send up examination will be conducted in the following subjects:-
- Medicine etc.
- Surgery etc.
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- aediatrics
The students will be allowed to appear in the University Examination only if they pass in all the subjects.
