Course name: Ph.D. in Surgery

Course Overview:

• Modern trends of reconstruction of various soft organs, like esophagus, trachea, urinary bladder, ureters, skin muscles, blood vessels, and intestinal by-pass.
  
• Use of cement for the healing of fractures, repair of fractures using external and internal implants, arthrodesis, etc.
  
• Introduction of various anesthetic combinations in Avians, Equines, Bovines, Canines. Use of gaseous anesthetics for thoracic surgery.
  

No. of Semesters: 6-10

Course duration: 3-5 years

Requirements: The candidates must have Master’s degree (M.Sc. Hons./M.Phil) in related field of study with minimum of 1st Division according to annual system or not less than CGPA 3.00/4.00 according to semester system from HEC recognized universities. Candidates will have to clear GRE subject test which will be arranged by university. Qualifying score 70%.
