Smart alarm that intelligently targets individual sleepers

You might have experienced the annoyance when a loud alarm clock rings and wake up others as well, but a new intelligent alarm has been created to fix this problem for the people.
The creators behind this new alarm dubbed as ‘Wake Alarm’ claim that it can gently rouse one partner with the help of its LED light and targeted speaker while leaving the others unaware.
Wake alarm is the invention of an engineering company, Lucera Labs based in Los Angeles and the founder of the company comments in this new product as :”If modern technology can solve so many problems, why do we still wake up the same way we did 30 years ago?
“You can start your day peacefully while others continue resting. It’s how 21st century humans are supposed to wake up.”
The alarm gadget is supposed to be mounted to the wall above the bed to locate individual sleeper and uses white LED to slowly light the area around a sleeper’s face giving an effect of a gentle sunrise.
Additionally, it uses parametric speakers to create a narrow beam of audio which is said to be only heard by one sleeper.
The company also says that there is no need to mess up with ‘off’ button as Wake turns itself off as you have gotten up.
Wake alarm can be controlled by using a smartphone app, which will be available for iOS and Android users.
Wake alarm project has been launched on the famous crowd-funding website Kickstarter hopes to raise $100,000 by May 30 and the Kickstarter backers will be able to experience Wake alarm by pledging $249 or more.
The creator vows that if the campaign reaches its goal, the first batch of Wake units will begin shipping to backers in September, 2015.
