Course Name: M.A. Philosophy

Course Overview: Notes (a) The following courses are compulsory: 511, 512, 513, 531, 535, 613, 614 and 631. Thesis can be opted with the permission of the Chairman, in lieu of 2 courses.

(b) All existing semester system rules approved by the University of the Punjab will be followed. However, any change made by the University in these rules will automatically be applied to this scheme of studies.

Requirements:

1. Graduates with Philosophy 20 Seats

a) First preference will be given to the candidates who have studied Philosophy as elective subject.

b) Second preference will be given to the candidates who have studied Philosophy as optional subject.

2. Graduates with Psychology/Applied Psychology 16 Seats

3. Graduates with any one of the following

as elective subjects 10 Seats

Economics, Political Science, History, Education, Journalism, English Literature Urdu Literature, Sociology, Social work, Mathematics, Physics, Computer studies, Zoology.
