Course overview:
The objectives of the Program are to:

Enable students to be acquainted with the modern trends in plants and allied sciences.

Requirements:
Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold first class M.Sc./BS (Hons.) in Botany or 16 Years education from any HEC recognized university or degree awarding institution.

Applicants must have qualified GAT (General) test organized by National Testing Service (NTS) Pakistan or passed UE entry test.

Written Test (for the Subject) is necessary. The students who will qualify the test will be considered for interview.

No age limit.
Merit Calculation
The merit shall be determined on the basis of the following criteria:
Academic qualifications
40 marks *
Publications in HEC approved journals (2.5 marks per publication)
5 marks
Professional experience in relevant field
5 marks (1 mark for each year of job in the relevant field)
Discipline based test to be conducted by the relevant Campus/Division
50 marks (mandatory to pass; the minimum passing score shall be 25 out of 50)
