BSc. Civil Engineering-UET Lahore
Course overview: In the Bachelor Degree Courses, emphasis is laid on the fundamental concepts and principles, which constitute the basis of civil engineering practice. To foster their creative abilities, the students are assigned projects on design, construction or laboratory investigations for self-directed execution. The classroom and laboratory work is supplemented with instructional tours to acquaint students with the civil engineering projects of national importance and with survey camps where they plan and execute surveys of large areas independently.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
3.1 General Eligibility Requirements
An applicant for admission to any of the Bachelor Degree course offered by the University must fulfill the following requirements:

He should have obtained at least 60% marks in F.Sc./ICS/DAE/B.Sc /B.Tech(Pass) examination excluding sports and Hafiz-e-Quran marks.

He should have appeared in the entry test arranged by this University for that particular academic session in which he seeks admission.

He should have at least 50% overall adjusted admission marks computed by giving 70% weight to F.Sc/ICS/DAE /B.Sc. / B.Tech(Pass) examination result and 30% to University Entry Test result.

He should be a bonafide resident of the area from where he seeks admission

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Members of the University staff will be available for personal consultation during admission period.

Try to submit the application along with the required documents as early as possible. Do not wait for the last date.

As soon as the process of selection is complete, the merit list will be notified showing the percentage aggregate marks of the applicants admitted in different disciplines against different categories.

All documents to be attached with the application Form F-I should be attested by a Class-I gazetted officer of the government or Class-A officer of this University.

EQUIVALENT EXAMINATIONS
The University recognizes the following examinations as equivalent to the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the Pakistani Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education:

Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) Examination of the Board of Intermediate &Secondary Education, Azad Kashmir.

Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-
British General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-
F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with Mathematics as an additional subject.
-
American High School Graduation Diploma (12th Grade) or equivalent.

Equivalence of Certificates Up to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)I Intermediate Level
The determination of equivalence and issuance of equivalent marks certificate up to HSSC level for certificates other than those issued by Pakistan’s Boards is the jurisdiction of the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) as per decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Such applicants are required to attach an equivalence certificate showing marks with the application for admission issued by the IBCC. The following are the addresses of the IBCC offices:
