Course overview: The curriculum for the bachelor’s degree includes courses in Mathematics, Computer techniques and humanities which are followed by the courses in Fundamentals of Mechatronics, Machine Design and CAD, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Instrumentation & Measurements, Microcontrollers and Microprocessors, Mechatronics System Design, Advanced Control Systems, Automation and Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision, Digital Signal Processing, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Production Management.
B.Sc degree in Mechatronics and Control Engineering is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council.

Requirements:
General Eligibility Requirements for B.Sc (Hons) or B.Sc. Engineering Degree programs:
An applicant for admission to B.Sc Mechatronics & Control Engineering (Hons.) must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:-

He should have obtained at least 60% marks in F.Sc. / ICS/ DAE/ B.Sc. / B.Tech. (Pass) Examination (excluding Sports and Hafiz-e-Quran marks)

He should have appeared in the entry test arranged by this University for that particular Academic Session in which he seeks admission.

He should have at least 60% adjusted admission marks determined as per clause 3 of the prospectus.

He should be a bona fide resident of the area from where he seeks admission
-
He should meet standards of physique and eye sight laid down in the medical certificate.

He should have passed the Intermediate from a Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education of Pakistan or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.

Try to submit the application along with the required documents as early as possible. Do not wait for the last date.

As soon as the process of selection is complete, the merit list will be notified showing the percentage aggregate marks of the applicants admitted in different disciplines against different categories.

All documents to be attached with the application Form F-I should be attested by a Class-I gazetted officer of the government or Class-A officer of this University.

EQUIVALENT EXAMINATIONS
The University recognizes the following examinations as equivalent to the Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the Pakistani Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education:

Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) Examination of the Board of Intermediate &Secondary Education, Azad Kashmir.

Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-
British General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
-
F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) with Mathematics as an additional subject.

American High School Graduation Diploma (12th Grade) or equivalent.

Equivalence of Certificates Up to Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC)I Intermediate Level
The determination of equivalence and issuance of equivalent marks certificate up to HSSC level for certificates other than those issued by Pakistan’s Boards is the jurisdiction of the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) as per decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Such applicants are required to attach an equivalence certificate showing marks with the application for admission issued by the IBCC. The following are the addresses of the IBCC offices:
