Conference on Engineering Education at UMT

Due to the prominent and significant role of different universities in Engineering Education is making Pakistan to produce highly qualified and well-groomed Engineers to secure the future of Pakistan. There are so many challenges educational institutions have to face in regards to engineering education such as research, essentials, quality of professional engineers rather than quantity.

Numerous speakers at the conference on Engineering Education expressed the previously mentioned and other related views to enhance the level of this field furthermore. This conference was organized by University of Management and Sciences in the local hotel while it was inaugurated by Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (Rector of the University) and Mr. Javed Saleem Qureshi (chairman Pakistan Engineering Council). Numerous students especially engineering students, researchers, scholars, teachers and staff members were seen attending the conference along with School of Engineering’s Dean at UMT - Dr. Saleem Abid Tabassum, Dr. Muhammad Asad, Dr. Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Dr. Usman Rashid and Dr. Sajjad Hashmi.
