INTRODUCTION

University Of Loralai (Urdu: یونیورسٹی آف لورالائی‎) is a university situated in Loralai, University of Loralai has started its Academic Activities in 2009 and its infrastructure/ civil work is at the initial stage. Its academics have completed the first batch successfully in 2014, which is a solid proof of the continuous hard work of the University’s entire team. I do hope that we would continue our efforts to bring the University to national and international standard. For this purpose 500 acres of land at (Zarr Karerz) has been provided by Provincial Government, allocated 12 km away from the Loralai City at Quetta Road. Notwithstanding, the tentative proposal of the University of Loralai was approved in the ECNEC meeting held on May, 2011, allocation of Rs. 1518.751 million allocated by the HEC as per PC-1 for University of Loralai. University of Loralai was established in 2009 as Sub-campus University of Balochistan Quetta. It was initially run under UoB administration for almost four years. Later on, it was declared a full-fledged university with the promulgation of the University of Loralai Act No.VI of 2012, passed by the Baluchistan Provincial Assembly on 24 September 2012 and assented to by Governor, Baluchistan on 27 September 2012. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Khan Kakar was appointed as first Vice Chancellor of the University, on 19th, December, 2014 The University of ], Balochistan.
