The journey from virtual to reality is not so long but the industry has embraced the idea like never before. You name it and you find it there at the list from Sony to Microsoft, From Google to Facebook and from Samsung to HTC. So everyone of these giants is in virtual waters.
A splash of these virtual waters is going to be seen at industry’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3. E3 is the highest profile video game conference of the year that will bring into focus the technology of the living rooms. The expo organizers Entertainment Software Association are all happy for the reason that as many as 27 exhibitors are going to showcase their virtual reality products and the conference is sold out with 50 more exhibitors than last year.
According to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, the virtual reality could eventually become our primary mode of interacting with computers. Movies makers, television producers and musicians are of the view that virtual reality will transform the way we experience entertainment.
Facebook’s new buy Oculus will be the most prominent game maker at the floor of conference.
