On Tuesday evening, ‘Ramooz-e-ishq’; a show depicting the cultures of the different regions of the country was held by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The wonderful event held on the sidelines of the Rawal Shopping Festival included folk music and dance.
The inauguration of the event was done by RCCI President Syed Asad Mashadi who promised that such events would be carried on in the future seeing the positive response of the Public. This initiative was taken following the rituals of Dubai. Sufi Performers like Bakshi Brothers and the alluring classical dance of Umair Arif received great accolade from the Public.
The President further addressed the public that several other events have been held to cater different groups carrying different taste and age. Events like Vintage Car Show, Cycle Race, Musical Programs, and Prize Distributions held the attraction of people. Winners of different Lucky Draws won Umrah tickets and other valuable gifts. He further told that a children’s carnival is under way. The Festival will be concluded (on May 17) by a grand Lucky Draw worth millions of rupees.
Senior Vice President Mian Humayun Parvez, Vice President Saboor Malik, former presidents Sohail Altaf and other prestigious guests attended the ceremony.
