National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) now features amongst the world’s elite institutions in two of the 36 subjects in this year’s QS World University rankings by subject, announced. NUST is now ranked at 271 in the field of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and 338 in the field of Computer Science & Information Systems.
Out of the 3,551 universities considered for evaluation 894 made it to the final rankings list. Over a 100 million citations attributions were analysed for over 14,000 programmes, to obtain the results. The methodology combines analysis from QS Global Employer and Academic Surveys with bibliometric data from Elsevier’s Scopus database (www.iu.qs.com).
It is pertinent to mention that NUST has consistently maintained its position among the top 500 world universities for the last 8 years.
