Overview:
The Institute of Education has been established to develop the knowledge, academic acumen and imagination of its scholars to enable them to take up leadership roles and teaching positions and so improve the quality of education in their unique contexts.
With consistent efforts of Porf. Dr. Uzma Qureshi and supporting faculty, the Institute of Education has established three new departments.
All the constituent departments have the capacity to sustain the research and teaching necessary for the expansion of opportunities and for unleashing the potential of individuals and communities.

Requirements
- Female candidates with minimum Eighteen years of education (MPhil/MS) or equivalent in the relevant field are eligible to apply.
- The candidate must have obtained 3.00/4.00 CGPA in semester system or 60% marks in annual system
- Qualifying GAT subject (60% Qualifying marks) is required to apply for admission in Ph.D. program
- In special circumstances, if the GAT Subject test is not available in NTS subject list, then the candidates have to appear in the special subject test organized by the university and the qualifying marks will be 70%
- Entry test (50% Qualifying marks) and Interview organized by university is mandatory for admission in Ph.D. Program

Candidates working in Government/Semi Government institutions have to submit NOC from concerned organization.
